Today I am going to be talking about how Injury hits McCartney in Europe campaign.But New Zealand pole-vaulter Eliza McCartney has injured her achilles while competing in Europe.
McCartney managed just one clearance in finishing eighth at the Diamond League meeting in Stockholm yesterday.
Last week she failed to record a height in Oslo.
The Rio Olympic bronze medalist is scheduled to have the injury looked at when she returns to her base in Germany tomorrow.McCartney is scheduled to compete in a World Challenge event in the Czech Republic next week.Her main aim for the year is the World championships in London in August.
