America's Cup 2017

Image result for America's Cup 2017: Oracle Team USA's captain Jimmy Spithill takes credit for cycling grinder system

I was learning  about America's Cup 2017 and that what makes them win the cup.

Today I was reading on newshub and that I found out the America's Cup 2017 and that they are going to vs New Zealand I hope we win because it can mean a lot to our countries and it would be very cool to win it.

And also Oracle Team USA's captain Jimmy Spithill has thrown more shade at Team New Zealand, but this time about a grinder system the Kiwis championed.

Both teams have been using a cycling grinder system which replaces the traditional cranks on the boat with bikes, and grinders with cyclists.
Developed by Team New Zealand who unveiled it at a practice session in Auckland in February, it wasn't until the beginning of May that Oracle unveiled their grinder system, remarkably similar to that of the Kiwis.

IALA:How a  Mother of suicide victim slams Government prevention plan as 'spineless'.

Today I was reading on how  mother of suicide victim slams Government prevention plan as 'spineless' and it was not great news because there are lots of death  and the amongst is 184.95 what I don't like is that there are 184.95 that have past away and that bad feeling.

Also seven years ago, Patrice Harris's son Brad turned up at Dunedin Hospital's emergency department and told them he was planning to take his own life.  He was sent home and two days later, he was dead.   Her son's suicide inspired Ms Harrex to become a mental health worker and today, she delivered a Public Service Associations submission on the Government's Suicide Prevention Strategy.  She calls it "spineless".

Domino's Surprise

IALA:Write something about Domino's Surprise.

Today I was reading about Domino's Surprise on kiwi kids news you guys should read some news on kiwi kids news because it can tell you lots of information and some good thing like All Black beat Lions.

Mike Vegas ordered a pizza from Domino’s but got a lot more than he bargained for when he opened the box to find a massive wad of cash.  The delivery driver had been on his way to the bank and placed the cash in an empty box for safe keeping and then mislaid the box which ended up in Mike’s house.  After finding the stack of cash amounting to £860 ($2101.84 NZ), Mike posted the weird find on Facebook. Many people responded, some telling him to keep it and others tell him to return the money to Domino’s.

IALT:Improve my shooting accuracy through playing basketball.

Today we had kiwi sports and i had a  fun time playing with my class and also my friends too. What  I found challenging was shooting the ball because I mostly miss all my shots and I think I need to work on my shooting and also aiming  the hoop too.The best part for me for kiwisports was playing basketball with my team called the Tamaki's and it was amazing to be playing my own class as well.I also like playing Golden child because we were having fun and shooting the ball too. What I like was working as a team and supporting others that I don't play with most of the time. Also' shouting out "Never give up" to others and tried  their best because you never know, they might be  cheering for you too.

What I like the least was Golden Child  because my team kept  losing but we were  still able to try our best out there.I thought that I could do better than that but it's  just me not taking my time out there But I loved it because I got some shots and I liked  that when it came to Golden Child to run I grabbed  the ball and shot the ball and I got it in! I was so happy because my team was happy for me and I was too becuase I made my my team happy.I felt hot inside and good at the same time because we all went outside and had a great time learning some cool skills and also showing teamwork to my team and others too.
A big  thank you to Hyram and Peter for having us today.

New road in China causing problems

IAlA:New road in China causing problems.

Today I was reading about New road in China causing problems and that I think it dangerous  because some cars can fall off and like the road can break and that  I am worried that New road in China causing problems because people can get angry and fight and push them off the road.

A new motorway in China is driving people crazy as they get lost in a maze of roads.  The amazing interchange has five suspended levels and cars going in all directions.  After eight years of construction, the interchange was completed last week on the outskirts of Chongqing, a large city in southwest China.  The new structure has five layers of traffic, with the highest 37 metres above ground.  A total of 15 ramps have been built to allow vehicles to move from one level to another.

Man jailed for 35 years for Facebook post

IAL:On how did the man go Jail.

Today I was reading about how a  Man jailed for 35 years for Facebook post.I think that it bad to post thing about your royal family. What I like is that he's in Jail because  he could keep posting rude thing on facebook. And AThai man has been jailed for 35 years on Friday for Facebook posts deemed insulting to the royal family.
It is one of the harshest sentences handed down for the crime of insulting the monarchy.Laws in Thailand prevent people from criticising the ultra-rich monarchy.
The Bangkok military court convicted the 34-year-old on ten counts. The court punished him with seven years per count. Altogether he was given 70 years, but it was reduced in half because he confessed.

Glen Eden Schools breaks record

IALA:To write something that relate to what I was reading.

Today  I was reading Glen Eden Schools breaks record and it was great news to hear because having to break the record is amazing thats mean working together and having teamwork as well.On Friday, 1799 kids, parents and teachers broke the Guinness World Record for the largest human image of a bicycle. If that was my school I'll be very happy that we break the world record. What  I like is that they Broke the world record and that They were also joined by other students and teachers from Konini Primary, Oratia Primary and Kaurilands Primary.
They stayed in the bike formation for five minutes.  The ‘bike’ was captured by a drone camera and documented by a Guinness World Records project manager.  The previous record was held at Kenilworth School in England where 1148 people got on board.
