Hi everyone today I was working on maths and what I learnt was a graph and it was so cool I learned a lot of different graphs as well I learnt that the bottom is any X axis and of the left side is a Y axis also that X axis  mean a time privod and also numbers as well and that this can help me with my work and also I can use this when I am older too.

Drawing the Drain

Today was fun I had fun drawing with sifa we chose a turtle because I know that my friend sifa now how to draw a turtle It was so fun drawing a turtle we chose this because we seen lot of turtle dead and also dead from rubbish as well this can help people to not pollute the turtle because of there is some of our sea crututise that have died because of people polluting.

WALT:Great a box out of a wood.

Today was very fun I had any cool time and fun I felt so excited to making a box I would want to work on to be careful on cutting my wood and also keeping my table clean I would Like to thank you Mr Grundy for helping me and fixing my mistake I had fun working with my friends and also Mr Grundy as well I was making any box were you can hide thing in it that why I chose to make a box  I can put thing like money and a lot of different thing that can fit in. 

I have made a lot of mistake but maybe next time I can work on cutting and also I hope you like it thank you very much for listening.

Graphs - Maths

WALT:Read  graphs and show relationship using a graph.

Today I was learning about a graph and it was fun learning about graphs  I learnt that you can use this graphs when you are older and this can help you  to understand what you like and or how tired you are I think that this can help you when are older and also you can teach others that does not know about graphs also I learnt that on the side and the bottom  is call an X aise , Y aise  this was helping me to understand what kind of different thing you can use to know what you like and what you did too.

                                                

You can also write 5 subjects and also draw a graph  of what bella draw to show you what a graphs looks like you can make up your own question like what you like or what's your fractive thing. Also I feel that this can help me understand different kind of graphs as well.

It azamazing learning what is a graph I never heard anything like this but now I know what a graph thanks to my teacher Ms korom for helping me with my work and also being able to understand what kind of graph we were doing.

Kia Manawanui Reflection on our Whanaungatanga Experience

Hi everyone I would like to tell you about what I did with my classroom and my friends.  When we had sleepover at school we had fun going on  our trips like going to  polyfest and the pools.

I felt happy and excited before we went  to polyfest,pools and had our sleepover.

At polyfest I had fun and I was so excited at polyfest because I want to go to the tongan groups and also walking around and watching different shows and also me and sene  doing the walking challenge.    

I wish that we should of played spot light and also I wanted the booming pool open too and  the diving pool as well. I wanted to do this because mostly all of the boys wanted to do booms It will help other kids  learn how to do booms.

I think that this help me cause when I am out on break I cloud help Help kids and make their day better so they can go home and tell their percent they had a fun day and also they can come to school with a nice smile on their  face   and ready for them to come school and learn.Also when I see someone having a hard time I can help them to try there best and never give up.

I enjoyed working with Irys,Cerenity,Kauri,Kenneth,Losana,Ana,Gary,Sosifa I chosen them because I was having fun with them and they made me laugh and help me and I had a lot of cool friends I was playing with.

After the trip I felt so broad because I wish it should be for 2 week that will be better but after our trip I was so tired and went to sleep when I got home.I learn that you can build relationship with other and also help them and encourage other people that you don’t play with all the time and also hang around with them and that how I felt so confident talking to other people that I haven't talk to.

Carrot prices hit all time high

Hi everyone I am going to be talking about that Carrot prices hit all time high what It means it by The price of New Zealand carrots has hit a record high.The price of the common vegetable has increased 51 per cent in the last year.One kilo of carrots cost $3.53 in February 2017, compared with $2.34 a year ago.Prices for fruit and vegetables, and dairy products have soared in the past year with vegetables up 12 per cent.And also Poor growing conditions in the North Island last year had resulted in a shortage just before Christmas.Prices for dairy products also increased. Butter prices were up 33 per cent compared with February 2016, and 13 per cent from January 2017.



I feel so happy that we have carrot also because it haelt for us and that we need to keep us healt  aswell like I was saying It keep us fit  and that you can use carrot with different foods.WALT:Write and read also summarize what we are reading about.

World’s oldest crocodile eggs found

Hi everyone today was my frist time finding out of the  World’s oldest crocodile it was so cool reading about this article because the World’s oldest crocodile eggs was found and that side of a cliff also had discovered  in Portugal.Also was found at the side of the country north  of lisbon and also did you know it was a 152 million  years ago if you didn't know now you know!!!!!....

I feel so different because now I know how long a crocodile lives and that it can live more then us I think we should look after the water so that crocodile can live for ever also Us too we should do that by not land polluting next to our environment and keep it clean  there is lot of different crocodile around the world I think crocodile can live the longest???? but I am not sure because I think we can to.

I feel worry that some crocodile are dangers because they can kill other also it not helpful for us so my opines is that we should not go next to crocodile an list you are any person that know a lot about crocodile WALT:Read something and also discard what we learned today and read.

Badminton Kiwi Sports

Hi everyone me and my class had Badminton at the hall it was so fun with Ben and my friend and class I will wish to Ben to come back and teach us more skills about badminton it is so cool at badminton that I have lean't the you can relate to other when you are playing two on two I like the why Ben Teach us lot of thing like backhand and a lot of other thing that he teach us.


I learnt a lot of thing from Ben same as my class to what we were doing was one on one  it was so fun that we were playing against other after that it was two on two but we didn't chose who we want to be it was whoever was out had swop with some that in the line.

Cricket introduces ‘red card’

Hi everyone today I am going to be talking about Cricket new rules now but did any of you know about cricket new rules.?????.......They have red card if your behaviour is bad, also has also announced the size of a bat will be reduced.The new maximum permitted dimensions of a cricket bat will be 108mm in width, 67mm in depth with 40mm edges.I feel so funny and my friend Aumau because we are playing cricket next week.I feel sorry for those that get red cards because of their behaviour but that them,also the Umpires will also have the ability to award penalty runs to a team if the opposing side is deemed to have had bad behaviour through acts of violence or disagreeing to an umpire’s decision.

Underwater Volcano near Tonga

 Underwater Volcano near Tonga this is so bad for cause  my family is mostly at tongan  I feel very worried that there is a volcano near tonga but it is under the water It feels like it bad cause it might take down the whole Island.The volcano is name is “Submarine Volcano III”  it was erupting for a week now,This is far from the the first time the Tonga region has been struck by an underwater volcano.There was an Satellite images taken from the Tongan area proved the underwater eruption is underway – and still going..WALT- Write thing in our own word.

English announces changes to pension age

Today I was reading about English announces changes to pension age  Bill English said that he would announced that the government intends to progressively raise the pension age from 65 to 67.And also he said that Under the proposed change announced today no-one born on or before 30 June 1972 would be affected.I think that not a good idea about him telling that there should be no one born or before 30 of june that no good.
  

The pension age is the age that you can stop working and the government will then provide you money to help you live.Mr English said the policy would save the government about $4 billion a year once it was fully in place in 2040.He said the policy’s 20-year lead-in was a “fair and balanced way to give people time to adjust.

I am leaning how to read an newspaper and to understand what it is saying.

Mouse stops plane from flying

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog I am going to be talking about a Mouse stops plane from flying today hope you enjoy it.A tiny mouse has caused and plane flight from London’s Heathrow Airport to USA to be cancelled.I feel sad for the people that want to go to USA  because it must of being an important thing for them and also they might need to go for a wedding.

The British Airways flight to San Francisco was cancelled after a mouse was found by staff members, despite the fact that all the passengers were already trapped in and waiting to take off.British Airways said that planes cannot take off with mice onboard and that another flight was arranged quickly.I think they make something like  whenever a mice is going to come in the airplane they should be a almae which well help them take the mice off before the passengers hope into the plan.

Hi everyone today I am going to be talking about what I was reading about and also what I have learnt from.The page that I have readed was page 28 - 29 what I loved was Mum shows the Fossile where everything Is if they don't already I love that because it found challenge for me and I didn't know what she was talking about.But i found it out by writing it in the omnibox the book that I read was very different to other books cause this have lot of photo that Identify the key idea in the text.
I am learning how to read and also how to be at level 4 for my reading also I think that might encourage me to read and to move up a level. Thank you very   much hope u like it.

5kg of coins removed from a sea turtle.

Thai vets have found 5 kg of coins inside a turtle.The green sea turtle had been living at a conservation centre in Sriracha, Chonburi, east of the Thai capital of Bangkok.The turtle had eaten the 900 coins after they were thrown into her enclosure for good luck.The coins and other objects were removed from the turtle named Omsin, which means piggy bank in Thai.The coins weighed 5kg with the turtle itself weighing 59kg.I am learning how to write something that I can understand and what my reader knows about.

Te Matatini win Kapa Haka festival 2017

Last weekend the best kapa haka groups in the country have been taking part in the national kapa haka competition in Hastings.A total of 47 kapa haka teams from all over the country and Australia took part in the competition. Each group is made up of 40 performers.Over 27,000 tickets were purchased for the event, making this the biggest Te Matatini competitions they have ever had since it started in 1972.

South Island kākā have made an extraordinary comeback in a Fiordland forest following a pest eradication project.Also did you know that n the mid 2000s the kākā population in Waitutu Forest was being ravaged by stoats and possums. Population surveys showed that males outnumbered females by an average of six to one.


 But Pest control in the Fiordland National Park, has included localised trapping and poisoning for stoats and possums. Planes have also applied 1080 over up to 30,000 hectares when pest numbers have been high due to forest seeding.

Shark finning has got banned in New Zealand and also it under the Government Rule I think that well be a good idea banning the Sharks from New Zealand cause if they do it can keep New Zealand safe and also no one getting hurt from sharks  also I will Agree with the Government rule.Conservation Minister Nick Smith made the announcement on a Wellington beach over the weekend.Dr Smith said sharks might not be as cuddly as kiwi or as cute as dolphins but they were an important part of the country’s marine diversity.There are 113 species of sharks within New Zealand.The Government proposal would take effect over the next two years.

Leopard VS Sharks Basketball.

Leopards take down sharks after Sharks losing and Leopards making it to the semis by winning to the Shark from chinese it was a close game but Leopards still won to Sharks.

The Shanghai  Sharks fail to the advance to the semifinals of 2017,Chinese basketball Association plays off after falling and to an agonizing 95-102 defeat in overtime to the Shenzhen Leopards also in the 5 game decider of their quarterfinal at Pudong Yuanshen Stadium last night.I feel different that Shark lost to Leopards but I think they felt challenge to Shark Losing to the Leopards.Leopards done a great play.when they had they game before this game that Leopards won  the other games that they were playing was a tried and they score was 2-2 it was a good game and play.

So they want to have a different match at Pudong Yuanshen they had a game a had a close game But Leopards took the lead to the semifinals vsing sharks at Pudong,Yuanshen they won by 3 pinots and dunks also lay outs.Both team done well and done well on team work.

Kiwi Can

Hi today we were at  Kiwi can and it was amazing and I learnt lot from kiwi can like working as a team getting to know other by talking to them about your fractive food,factive colour,what you want to do in the weekend,Where you want to go on the holiday.I choose my fractive food was pig but cook,My frative colour was blue,also what I wanted to do in the weekend he play basketball and go to church every sunday  and also what I want to join the holiday was Tongan I want to go there cause I wanted to look after my Nana there in Eua.

We Two lovely teacher and you can see them in the Photo  there was so amazing and funny there they would always run some for us to do and it was cool I like the way that they help us and teach us a lot of thing from them.

I felt so happy that we went to kiwi can It was so cool because we were in four groups and we were vsing each other it was so cool we were playing this game with chairs and it was fun what we had to do was to found a way to get to the blue chairs  my groups was all boys but we lose mostly most of the games but it was alright  we had fun and my whole class as well to.

We are learning to learn something that Kiwi can Teach us.

Technology Reflection

Hi everyone today we were at technology it was so fun that I had started on planing to start making my box and it was so cool I felt happy starting on my plan to make my wood work I was making a box that I can put thing in it and also hiding  something in there from my brother as well.I chosen a box so I can give it to my Nana because I know that she needs something to hide her money.It was so cool with Mr Grundy There was lot of different thing I wanted to do but I want to do a chopper a chopper is like a helicopter  that can fly but I need a box so I can give it  to my Nana.
